I’m John, a San Diego native, lifelong sports fan, and designer. I’ve always loved baseball, surfing, and creating things that feel honest. Local Pastime started before I even knew it.

It began as a single design for a surf lifestyle brand I was building. Blending hometown pride, sport, and culture, it quickly became clear the idea needed its own lane to run. So Local Pastime was born.

Local Pastime creates designs that blend vintage sports nostalgia with the passions that give each city its personality, the hobbies and rituals that live beyond the game. Pieces meant to turn heads, spark conversations, and make people smile because they get it.

This is about honoring the teams we grew up watching, the pastimes that shaped us, and the places that made us who we are.
